Seafood Salad Recipe

A fresh calamari and prawn salad with a delicious fresh lime dressing which really brings out the seafood flavours.

Recipe Ingredients

  • 500g frozen calamari, defrosted
  • 20 large prawns, peeled and deveined
  • 2 heads cos lettuce, chopped
  • ½ small pack cherry tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 red onion, finely sliced
  • ½ jar piquanté peppers, rinsed and diced
  • small bunch parsley, finely chopped

Dressing

  • 4 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • pinch of sugar

Recipe Method

  1. Heat some olive oil in a hot pan and cook the calamari and prawns for about 10 minutes until cooked through.
  2. Arrange the chopped lettuce on four plates with the tomato halves and red onion.
  3. Top with the cooked seafood, diced peppers and parsley.
  4. Combine the dressing ingredients, season to taste and pour over the salads.
