The latest scam circulating via Whatsapp involves a message from "Business Manager SPAR " regarding a R50,000 prize.
There is no such competition running. Please do not provide your phone number or any personal details. 
 

How to Check if an Offer/Competition is Fake

 

• Did you see references to this specific competition or offer in store or on the official SPAR website or Facebook page? If you don't find it on any of the regular SPAR communication channels, it is a scam.
• Do you need to supply your banking details or pay any money?  Don’t do it! SPAR will never ask for money or banking details.  The official SPAR 2U app or in-store is the only way to purchase anything from SPAR. Anything else is a scam.
