To sterilize cleaned glass jars, fill to the brim with boiling water until required for filling. To ensure a completely air-tight seal and increased the longevity of the marmalade, light a white wax candle, and allow the melting wax to drip onto the bottled marmalade once it has cooled slight to form a light gel on the top. Place a short loop of string in the center, for easy removal of the wax 'plug' at a later stage. Screw on the jar lid firmly. *Recipe tested using 100% Power level in a 900 Watt microwave oven
